Option 1: Marakech to Fez 3 days and 2 nights

Day 1: Marrakech, atlas mountains, Ouarzazate road of thousands and one kasbah, Dades gorges

The road to Ouazarzate passes through various villages, typical of the northern slopes of High Atlas Mountains climb the winding road of the Tizi N' Tichka the highest pass in Morocco.

The geography offers you different colors and landscapes, the road leads to the territory of the powerful Glaoua tribe. where a number of ancient Kasbahs and fortified granaries can be seen.

Stop at Telouet to see the great dilapidated Kasbah the residence of the Glaoua chieftain and Pacha of Marrakech, it was greatly enlarged and luxuriously appointed by Elhadj Thami El Glaoui abandoned when the lands of last of the Lords of the Atlas was confiscated at 1956.

We continue through the Ounila valley to reach Ouarzazate and see Kasbah Taourirt .then drive on through the Valley of the Roses. Overnight in the Dades Gorge.


Day 2: Dades Valley, Todra Gorge, Tinjdad, Merzouga and the Sahara desert

After a generous breakfast we drive to the highest oasis valley gorge in Morocco Todra Gorge. Arrive in the desert where your guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the Moroccan Sahara. Camel trekking as the sun sets across a desert landscape, for approximately 2 hours to reach your desert camp and home for the night: a traditional nomad tent, with Berber music for entertainment.


Day 3: Merzouga (Sahara Desert) - Fez 270 miles

You will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, possibly the best moment of the Merzouga desert. After breakfast, you will travel to Fes by passing through the Ziz Valley Gorge and Midelt, an impressive mountain city with traditional buildings similar to those in southern Morocco. Located at 1,488m in altitude, it is well situated just at the foot of Jbel Ayachi (3,737 m). Your journey continues via Azrou and the cedar forests where a colony of monkeys will keep you amused.

Drop off at your Riad hotel in the evening.


Option 2: 4 days and 3 nights Marakech to Fez

Day 3: Full day in Sahara desert (Merzouga)

Savor the quiet and stillness of the desert and the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi swirling and changing shape with the winds and changing color with the angle of the sun. explore the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi and travel back to ancient times taking mint tea with nomads in their tents. The highlight of the afternoon is a camel safari. By far the best way to experience the dunes. After taking you into the village to buy a proper head scarf to protect you from the sun, you'll be mounted on a camel and led off into the desert.

Overnight in Berber tent around fire a very good tagine will be cocked especially for you.


Day 4: Merzouga (Sahara Desert) - Fez 270 miles
