Desert tour: 7 days

Day 1 : Airport of Casablanca to Marrakech

Upon your arrival to Casablanca airport, we will transfer you to Marrakech to Your Riad or hotel welcoming you with a mint tea, you might to be attracted by the main square Jemaa El Fna predominately occupied by orange juice stools, during the day time and open air sky ,smoky, tasty, restaurants at night time. Watch story tellers and men with chained Barbary apes and Water sellers in colorful costumes with brass cups.


Day 2 : Visit of Marrakech

Today you will read a lot of history about Marrakech which was founded a 1000 years ago, by the Almoravid dynasty, the Koutoubia mosque founded in 1071 is an example of the glory of Almoravid architecture, still majestically over looking the Jemma El Fna (main sqaure) which featured in the Alfred Hitchcock film (The Man Who Knew Too Much) story tellers or Halka snake charmers and henna painters.

The Bahia Palace, an outstanding example of Arab and Andalusian architecture is a 19th century palace with more than 160 rooms. Painted with natural colors same as indigo and saffron.

The Majorelle garden. Delightful garden, where you find bougainvillea, coconut Palms, and banana trees, abandoned after the death of the artist Jacque Majorelle in 1926,but restored by another Frenchman Yves Saint Laurent .

The Saadians tombs: a 15th century landmark where more than 200 of the Saadian royal family who ruled Morocco at that time.


Day 3 : Marrakech – Ouarzazate 100 miles

We will head down to the road of caravans linked Marrakech to Sahara desert, Berbers home climbing to 1404 miles throw Tizi n’tichka pass, the famous pass mean: the Pasteur Mountains the road is adventurous and memorable forever . Day 4 : Ouarzazate Dades valley 100 miles

After moroccan breakfast, we are back to the car and get to the road of thousand and one kasbahs,stop to see the magestic kasbah at skoura Amridil !see the rose valley via unbeatten road of boutagRaR and might to have some tea with nomades in their caves;

Day 5 : Dades Gorge to Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Dunes) 124 miles

Road of 1000 and one Kasbahs.After Generous breakfast back to road. Morning walking to dramatic road chosen by Cadillac commercial ATS.

Back long time to the history to see primitive life of nomads in their caves, sharing their living with Goats, donkeys, camels ! it’s a nomads who belong to the ait sarRocen tribes!

Stop at Todgha Gorges and might to have a walk at palm tree oasis of tinghir .

Day 6 : Full day in Merzouga : Sahara Desert

Savor the quiet and stillness of the desert and the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi swirling and changing shape with the winds and changing color with the angle of the sun. explore the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi and travel back to ancient times taking mint tea with nomads in their tents. The highlight of the afternoon is a camel safari. by far the best way to experience the dunes. After taking you into the village to buy a proper head scarf to protect you from the sun, you'll be mounted on a camel and led off into the desert. Overnight in Berber tent around fire a very good tagine will be cocked especially for you.


Day 7 : Merzoga Erg chebbi Errachidia, Midelt, Ifran Fez – 278 miles

You will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, possibly the best moment of the Merzouga desert. After breakfast, you will travel to Fes by passing through the Ziz Valley Gorge and Midelt, an impressive mountain city with traditional buildings similar to those in southern Morocco. Located at 1,488m in altitude, it is well situated just at the foot of Jbel Ayachi (3,737m). Your journey continues via Azrou and the cedar forests where a colony of monkeys will keep you amused. Drop off at your Riad/Hotel in the evening.
